Dominaria brings a new card type, a Saga. Sagas are completely different from anything I have ever seen. Still though, they are pretty easy to understand. When you play a Saga on to the battlefield, or draw a card while a Saga is on the battlefield, you add whats called a lore counter. When a Saga has three lore counters on it, you sacrifice it. Every time you add a lore counter, the Saga triggers and does something. Here is one of the sagas that will appear in Dominaria.
Triumph of Gerrard
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step
add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I Put a +1 +1 counter on target creature you control with the greatest power.
II
III Target creature you control with the greatest power gains flying, first strike, and lifelink until end of turn.
If you have not already noticed, Sagas use roman numerals, and that most Sagas that have been already previewed usually have there first and second ability as the same thing.
So that's it for today, but please comment below, what do you think of Sagas?
