What I Expect In 'Hour of Devastation'

The Amonkhet block's final series is Hour of Devastation. What is expected from it? What will happen in the story? Will the Gatewatch defeat Nicol Bolas? I have some thoughts and hopes for it, so let's get started. I hope that the Gatewatch does not kill Nicol Bolas. If they did, my idea for Bloodlark would be ruined. But if they did, the multiverse would be free of the evil Nicol Bolas. That would be great, but I think Bloodlark is greater. People have been talking about whether Nicol Bolas should be a legendary creature or a planeswalker. I think he should be a planeswalker. What will happen after Hour of Devastation to the Gatewatch? Will the next MTG block have the Gatewatch in it? Or will it not. I hope it doesn't. I think that's it, but I might post more about this. What do you expect in Hour of Devastation?

Bloodlark: Part One

This continues "A great idea for a new magic block." One day, there was peace. The next, destruction. Nicol Bolas made an army of young planeswalkers and unleashed its madness across the multiverse. He captured all the planes but one, Lorwin and Shadowmoor. Nicol Bolas sent his army to capture that final plane. When he and his army arrived, they saw the Gatewatch ready to fight. "What brings the Gatewatch to Lorwin and Shadowmoor?" said Nicol Bolas. "You," said Chandra. "Well I will have to push you aside." "Never." Chandra rushed at Nicol Bolas but was surrounded by the evil dragon's army. She shot out flame across the army, killing some of them. Liliana raised the dead soldiers up and told them, "Obey." Then she pointed a finger at the army and said, "Attack." The dead corpses attacked the army. Then all was dark. A portal opened up, and every creature including the Gatewatch in Lorwin and Shado...

A Great Idea For A New Magic Block

I have a great idea for a new Magic block. I will post more about this topic, but today I'm just going to explain the short story for this new block of mine. Basically Nicol Bolas [an evil dragon] took over every plane in the multiverse. He sent every creature on every plane to a new world that he created called Bloodlark. Nicol Bolas wanted all the planes to crumble, so he made a way for the creatures to escape Bloodlark. The creatures of the planes would have to fight in what he called the great war. If a plane won the war all the planes could go back to there original worlds. So the planes fight and all the planeswalkers join there planes and fight against other planeswalkers in the great war. The Gatewatch decides to join a plane and fight for it so that all the creatures can go back to their original worlds. But the war means death and destruction. If a plane won the great war, and all the other creatures could go back to there original homes, they would still have to f...

What Is A Planeswalker?

Some people already know what a planeswalker is. I know what a planeswalker is, but one day I was looking on my computer, trying to find out a description for planeswalking. I found nothing, but for some people who want a good description, I will try my best to give you one for planeswalkers and planeswalking. Very few children in the multiverse of MTG are born with a planeswalker spark. In a moment of danger or near death the planeswalker spark will ignite, and the person with the spark will become a planeswalker. There are many worlds in the MTG multiverse. Worlds are called planes, and planeswalkers have the ability to travel to new planes. This is called planeswalking. For a planeswalker to planeswalk, he or she must think of the plane they want to go to, and they will instantly go there. Here is a list of my favorite planeswalkers: Chandra Nalaar, red hair, controls fire. Nissa Revane, elf, has big staff, helps nature. Gideon Jura, loyal, is all about peace and justice...

Is Hazoret Tezzeret?

Hazoret is a god on Amonkhet. Or is he? The planeswalker Tezzeret fled from Kaladesh after being defeated by the Gatewatch and the people who revolted against him. Could it be that Tezzeret planeswalked [thinking of a plane/world of his choice and instantly going there] to Amonkhet and disguised himself as a god? Let's have a look at the facts and decide for ourselves: 1. Tezzeret is Nicol Bolas' agent. It would make sense for Tezzeret to go to the plane where his boss is, which in this case is Amonkhet. 2. Hazoret, Tezzeret - they sound almost exactly the same. 3. At the end of the Amonkhet trailer we see Hazoret fighting Gideon and Liliana. Both Gideon and Liliana are part of the Gatewatch, a group of planeswalkers saving planes\worlds in danger. Could it be that they found out that Hazoret was Tezzeret, and had gone after him? 4. This fact ends the discussion for me: the gods have always ruled Amonkhet. There is no way that Tezzeret could just dress up as a god wi...
